A devastating fire at Mahajan Electronics claimed the lives of four workers, including three women, leading to the arrest of the owner, Mansh Mahajan, in Delhi.
The shop in west Delhi's Raja Garden lacked any form of fire safety infrastructure, such as extinguishers, separate exits, or suppression systems. The fire erupted on the second floor, requiring urgent intervention.
Fire department teams had to dismantle a wall to save five trapped employees. Sadly, Aayushi, Payal, Amandeep Kaur, and Ravi perished, while Sandeep Sharma remains hospitalized. The showroom operates on the ground floor, with additional space serving as a godown.
