AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, through a social media post, condemned the state administration, citing a failure of law and order in the BJP-ruled region. Police have arrested five individuals connected to the attack which occurred near Panaji, but one suspect remains elusive.

Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao decried the state of democracy in Goa, calling the attack a silencing of the people's voice. A delegation of social activists later met with Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, who indicated potential invocation of the National Security Act against the perpetrators, aligning with public demand for heightened security measures.
