In a significant breakthrough against cybercrime, Haryana's Nuh police have arrested four individuals accused of defrauding people across India using various deceptive tactics.
The first arrest involved Asif from Nuh, who targeted victims like Vishal from Uttar Pradesh and Kailash from Maharashtra. Asif allegedly sold fake goods online, extracting money through fraudulent schemes.
The second case involved brothers Waris and Zaheer, who created fake social media accounts to extort money by threatening to release obscene videos. The third arrest was of Haseen, involved in financial extortion using the Rapido app. The police are conducting technical investigations on recovered devices and SIM cards, expecting more revelations.
