In the aftermath of a devastating nightclub fire in Arpora, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has strongly criticized the Goa government led by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. AAP claims that the administration lost 'moral right' to govern following the tragedy that claimed 25 lives.
The fire erupted at Birch by Romeo Lane, a popular nightlife hub, leading to the deaths of several tourists and staff. The AAP, through their Goa unit president Amit Palekar, questioned the government's inaction despite alleged safety violations by the nightclub, an issue reportedly raised in the state assembly.
