The Border Security Force (BSF) made significant recoveries of contraband and arms in Punjab, according to official reports on Sunday. These discoveries were achieved through rigorous search operations conducted along the India-Pakistan border.

In a strategic move in Amritsar, the BSF initiated an exhaustive search following the sighting of a drone late Saturday night. This operation led to the discovery of 12 packets of heroin, with a total weight of 6.638 kilograms, hidden in a field near Daoke village, a BSF official confirmed.

In a similar operation in Ferozepur, BSF personnel uncovered a pistol and four rounds from agricultural land in Gandu Kilcha village, further emphasizing the constant vigilance required to secure the border areas.
