The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N Chandrababu Naidu, has mandated that all government services transition online in time for the Sankranti festival.
This decision, reviewed during a session on the Real Time Governance System (RTGS), is part of an effort to increase transparency and public satisfaction with governance.
Naidu has urged departments still providing offline services to adapt. Services are being moved online through WhatsApp and the Mana Mitra application, eliminating the need for citizens to visit government offices.
There will be a publicizing campaign for Mana Mitra, and arrangements are being made for documents to be sent directly to citizens' homes via courier.
Additionally, Naidu has ordered officials to explore diverse applications of drone technology, proposing a master plan. He emphasized educating farmers on the benefits of drones in agriculture, specifically in reducing pesticide use.
