Highway Hijack in Sindh: Gunmen Abduct 18 in Bus Attack
Eighteen male passengers were abducted by armed gunmen near the Ghotki area of Pakistan's Sindh province. The attack occurred on a bus traveling to Quetta. While a few passengers and the driver suffered injuries, female passengers were unharmed. An estimated 18 to 20 masked attackers were involved.

In a brazen act of violence, unidentified gunmen abducted 18 male passengers from a bus in Pakistan's Sindh province. The incident unfolded near the Ghotki area on Monday night as the bus journeyed towards Quetta.
According to eyewitness accounts, the attackers fired at the vehicle, injuring the driver and several passengers. Witnesses described around 18 to 20 assailants, armed and with covered faces, who seized control of the bus on the Highway Link Road near the Sindh and Punjab border.
Although women passengers remained unharmed, the attackers forced 25 passengers to exit the vehicle at gunpoint. Zia ul Hasan Lanjhar, spokesperson for the Sindh Home Minister, confirmed the bus carried around 30 passengers along with the driver and cleaner during the assault.
