The main objectives of these exercises are to foster convergence and coordination between the two nations in countering threats to maritime security. This includes tackling activities that endanger safety at sea and combating maritime terrorism.
According to Iranian navy commander Hassan Maghsoodloo, the joint exercise is crucial for strengthening regional security and demonstrates a clear stance against maritime threats.
