Crackdown in Kashmir: Properties Frozen Amidst Drug Trade Investigation
Police in Anantnag district, Jammu and Kashmir, attached four residential properties linked to illicit drug trade. Valued at Rs 2.25 crore, the properties were frozen under the NDPS Act. The individuals involved were identified as Rayees Ahmed Dar, Sabzar Ahmad Dar, Mudasir Ahmed Dar, and Zahid Ahmad Dar. Preliminary investigations indicated that these properties were acquired through narcotics-related proceeds.

In a significant move against drug trafficking, authorities in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir have targeted the financial networks tied to this illicit trade.
On Wednesday, police attached four residential properties, collectively valued at Rs 2.25 crore, under the NDPS Act.
The properties are linked to Rayees Ahmed Dar, Sabzar Ahmad Dar, Mudasir Ahmed Dar, and Zahid Ahmad Dar, residents of Tulkhan in the Bijbehara area. Investigations reveal these assets were procured through proceeds from illegal narcotic activities.
