BJP's Unwavering Push for Women's Reservation in Legislature

BJP's Rajasthan in-charge, Radha Mohan Das Agrawal, emphasized the government's commitment to implementing women's reservation in the legislature. Despite the defeat of the Constitution amendment bill, Agrawal reiterated Prime Minister Narendra Modi's determination, blaming opposition obstacles for the delay and vowing continued efforts to achieve this legislative milestone.

BJP's Rajasthan in-charge, Radha Mohan Das Agrawal, on Tuesday reaffirmed the central government's dedication to enforcing women's reservation in the legislature. Speaking from the party office, Agrawal highlighted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi remains resolute, undeterred by the Lok Sabha defeat of the Constitution amendment bill.

Agrawal criticized Congress and its allies for obstructing the implementation process, emphasizing the need for women's active participation in shaping the country's political landscape. Despite the government's parliamentary majority, opposition resistance reportedly thwarted obtaining the necessary two-thirds majority for the bill's passage.

Undeterred by opposition, Agrawal assured that the BJP will persist in its efforts to enact women's reservation in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies. He underscored the party's strategic resolve to overcome political challenges and prioritize inclusive legislative representation.
