A local family court has granted a divorce to a husband claiming mental cruelty by his wife, largely due to her social media behavior. The court observed that sharing photos with another man publicly could constitute mental cruelty, impacting the man's dignity and social status.
The court emphasized that content shared on public platforms holds significant weight and individuals are expected to act responsibly. Allegations of the wife using abusive language and pressuring her husband to live separately from his family also contributed to the decision.
Moreover, the wife's admission of registering as unmarried for a job exam further supported the claims. The couple, married since 2015, has seen their relationship unravel due to repeated breaches of marital respect and dignity, which were deemed acts of cruelty.
