Following recent tragedies in Vivek Vihar and Palam, Gupta convened a meeting with top officials and emphasized the need for a detailed blueprint to identify vulnerabilities and enhance emergency response. The focus is on strengthening the Fire Services Department through increased manpower, modernization of equipment, and improved coordination among departments.
Moreover, the government plans to launch extensive awareness campaigns to educate citizens on fire safety. Gupta has directed that mock drills be conducted in residential areas to bolster emergency preparedness, underscoring a firm commitment to public safety.
