The lifeless body of a 50-year-old government school teacher from Uttar Pradesh was discovered hanging at his rented home in Jharkhand's Palamu district, potentially indicating a suicide, according to police reports on Sunday.
Satyaprakash Shrivastav, a physical training teacher at Sildiliya High School in the Panki area, was found hanging in the kitchen of his residence on Thana Road. Authorities have since dispatched his body for a post-mortem at Medinirai Medical College and are keeping his family informed.
No suicide note was left behind, leaving the motives for this tragic incident unclear. Police are examining his mobile phone's call records to gain further insights into the circumstances of his death.
