The Congress party in Telangana on Wednesday urged Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan to dissolve the state public service commission until the ongoing investigation into the alleged paper leak of a recruitment test is complete. A delegation of Congress leaders, led by the party's state unit president A Revanth Reddy, met the Governor and complained about the alleged leak of question paper of a recruitment test conducted by the commission, a party release said. ''The #TSPSC paper leak has made the future of lakhs of unemployed youth uncertain. We complained to the governor about the paper leak.. The governor has the special power to dissolve the Telangana Public Service Commission until the investigation,'' Revanth Reddy tweeted. Meanwhile, BJP decided to organise a 'Nirudyoga Maha Dharna' in support of lakhs of unemployed youth who are allegedly agitated over the ''leak'' of the question paper. The 'Maha Dharna' would be held at the Indira Park here on March 25, a BJP release said. The saffron party demanded that the probe into the paper lake should be conducted by a sitting judge. The TSPSC on March 15 had cancelled the Assistant Engineers (AE) exam held on March 5, following allegations of the question paper leak. Amid protests by opposition parties and students' groups for the past several days over the issue, the Commission on March 17 cancelled the Group-I preliminary exam and two other tests. Nine people, including an Assistant Section Officer in the TSPSC, a contract employee of the Commission, two candidates and a police constable have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the data breach, stealing and leaking of TSPSC's Assistant Engineer (Civil) examination question paper.
