BJP Dominates Gujarat Lok Sabha: Amit Shah Leads By Massive Margin

The Bharatiya Janata Party is leading in 24 of 25 Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat, with notable figures like Amit Shah securing a massive margin. In Banaskantha, Congress's Geniben Thakor holds a significant lead. BJP's stronghold in Gujarat continues, replicating its 2014 and 2019 victories.

In the ongoing vote count for Gujarat's Lok Sabha seats, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party commands 24 out of 25 constituencies. Notably, Congress candidate Geniben Thakor has gained a comfortable lead in Banaskantha. According to the Election Commission of India, Thakor's lead stands at 33,000 votes.

Among the BJP heavyweights, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is leading by a staggering margin of 7,11,908 votes. Similarly, Union Ministers Mansukh Mandaviya and Parshottam Rupala are leading by substantial margins of over 3.80 lakh and 4.65 lakh votes, respectively. State BJP President CR Paatil is ahead by more than 6.78 lakh votes.

BJP had previously swept Gujarat, home to PM Modi and Amit Shah, winning all 26 seats in the 2014 and 2019 general elections. In this election, the BJP secured the Surat Lok Sabha constituency unopposed, and the current trends show them comfortably leading in 24 seats, save for Banaskantha.
