BJP's Women Power Shines in Odisha Lok Sabha Elections
Four women candidates from the Bharatiya Janata Party, including former IAS officer Aparajita Sarangi and Sangeeta Kumari Singh Deo, achieved victory in the Lok Sabha elections in Odisha. The BJP won 20 out of 21 seats in the state, highlighting their strong performance.

Four female candidates from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), among them former IAS officer Aparajita Sarangi and Sangeeta Kumari Singh Deo, secured triumphant victories in the Lok Sabha elections held in Odisha.
Out of 29 women who contested in the 21 Lok Sabha seats in the state, four emerged victorious and five were runners-up.
Replicating her previous success, BJP candidate Aparajita Sarangi retained the Bhubaneswar seat, defeating BJD opponent Manmath Kumar Routray by a margin of 35,152 votes.
Sangeeta Kumari Singh Deo, associated with the erstwhile Patna royal family, conquered the Bolangir seat by a substantial 1,32,664-vote lead over BJD's Surendra Singh Bhoi.
BJP's Malvika Devi, hailing from Kalahandi's former royalty, claimed the Kalahandi seat by beating Lambodar Nial of BJD by 1,33,813 votes.
The Aska constituency witnessed BJP's Anita Subhadarshini defeat BJD rival Ranjita Sahu by 99,974 votes.
In a notable performance, the BJP clinched 20 out of the 21 Lok Sabha seats in Odisha.
