The Congress on Thursday posed critical questions to Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding his promise to grant special category status to Andhra Pradesh and Bihar.
Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh, in a video statement, sarcastically referred to the anticipated Modi 3.0 government, predicting instead a 'Modi 1/3 government'.
Ramesh highlighted Modi's decade-old promise made in Tirupati and questioned his silence on privatizing the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. The Congress also demanded a nationwide caste census, an issue allegedly ignored by the PM.
