In a significant political development, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders K Ram Mohan Naidu and Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani are poised to join Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Union Cabinet. The inductions are set to take place on Sunday.
According to a social media post by former TDP MP Galla Jayadev, Naidu, representing Srikakula in the Lok Sabha, will assume a Cabinet minister role, while Pemmasani, the Guntur MP, will serve as a minister of state. Jayadev extended his congratulations to Naidu, praising his sincerity and humble nature.
Naidu is an experienced three-time Lok Sabha member, while Pemmasani, noted as one of the wealthiest MPs, is making his debut in the House. The TDP's support is crucial for the BJP-led NDA government, as the alliance secured 21 out of 25 seats in Andhra Pradesh. Additionally, BJP sources revealed that Narsapuram MP B Srinivasa Varma is also likely to join the Cabinet as a minister of state.
