Donald Trump's campaign declared a financial victory in the year's second quarter, claiming to have outraised President Joe Biden with a reported total of $331 million.

This figure eclipses the $264 million raised by Biden's reelection campaign and the Democratic National Committee, neutralizing Biden's previous cash lead and potentially undermining his position within the Democratic Party after a widely criticized debate performance.

Trump’s total fundraising includes $111.8 million raised in June, albeit less than Biden’s $127 million for the same month. However, Trump's campaign closed the quarter with $284.9 million cash on hand, outstripping Biden’s $240 million.

“President Trump's campaign fundraising operation is thriving day after day and month after month,'' Trump campaign senior advisors Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles said, suggesting that Biden's higher ad spending hasn’t significantly impacted his campaign.

The Trump team anticipates further fundraising success as they approach a high-profile convention and witness continuing internal conflicts among Democrats post-Biden’s debate performance.

Meanwhile, Biden campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez emphasized the strong and expanding support base standing behind the president’s reelection efforts.
