BJP Slams Congress Over Union Budget Criticism

Demands were made for Congress and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi to apologize to the people of Bihar and Andhra Pradesh for mocking budgetary allocations to these states.

This comes after opposition parties accused the government of a biased budget favoring BJP-ruled states. JD(U) and TDP, ruling Bihar and Andhra Pradesh respectively, are key NDA constituents. Former Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narasimha Rao defended the budget, labeling it pro-people and progressive, aimed at Viksit Bharat (developed India).
