Yogi Adityanath Strategizes for Milkipur Bypoll after Faizabad Setback

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday convened a crucial meeting with BJP office bearers to strategize for the upcoming Milkipur Assembly bypoll in Ayodhya district, part of the Faizabad parliamentary constituency.

The bypoll was prompted following Samajwadi Party's Awadhesh Prasad's victory in the Faizabad Lok Sabha seat during the recent general elections. This defeat for the BJP, only months after the Ram Temple consecration ceremony, is seen as a significant setback.

At the meeting, which included the BJP election in-charges, Adityanath highlighted the importance of effective booth management and urged party workers to communicate the benefits of the government's development schemes to the public. He called for countering the opposition's narrative, maintaining active engagement, and upholding the Constitution. Senior party leaders and state ministers were in attendance.
