In a fiery address at the Janandolana event in Mysuru, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar leveled serious accusations against Union Minister and Janata Dal-Secular leader HD Kumaraswamy. Shivakumar claimed officials had informed him of 50 de-notification cases against Kumaraswamy, who he said ironically calls himself 'Clean Swamy'.
The Deputy CM informed that the Lokayukta had written to the Governor on this matter, alleging Kumaraswamy has sought refuge in the BJP. Shivakumar accused Kumaraswamy of stifling growth within his party, backstabbing fellow leaders, and even undermining his own family for political gain. "Kumaraswamy can't digest an OBC leader becoming CM for a second term," he asserted.
Shivakumar also criticized BJP's attempts to destabilize the government, dismissing their efforts as futile. Highlighting the Congress party's electoral success, he declared, "Congress will rule Karnataka for another 10 years." He defended CM Siddaramaiah amidst allegations of irregularities in the MUDA case, calling out BJP and JDS for their alleged scams while affirming the Congress party's commitment to protecting societal interests.
