Trump Appoints Legal Team: Blanche Named Deputy AG
U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has appointed his attorney, Todd Blanche, as deputy attorney general. Blanche, who previously managed Trump's legal defense, is undergoing Senate confirmation. Alongside Blanche, Trump named Emil Bove as principal associate deputy attorney general and acting deputy attorney general.
In a recent announcement, U.S. President-elect Donald Trump revealed his choice of attorney Todd Blanche as the new deputy attorney general.
Blanche, acclaimed for his prior work as a federal prosecutor and for defending Trump in notable legal cases, including the controversial hush money trial, is awaiting Senate confirmation.
Trump also named Emil Bove as principal associate deputy attorney general, a role he will fill alongside serving as acting deputy attorney general.
