The BJP on Wednesday took a swipe at Arvind Kejriwal, labeling him as a 'bagula bhagat' (pretentious devotee) for his unfulfilled pre-poll promise of providing a monthly honorarium of Rs 18,000 to temple priests and granthis of gurudwaras.
During a press conference at the BJP headquarters, party spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi condemned the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for its alleged unreliability in Indian politics. Trivedi claimed that the AAP, born with a promise of political change, has mirrored 'old Congress' practices, losing credibility among Delhiites.
Trivedi's remarks also took aim at Kejriwal's failure to act on promises despite being in power, highlighting unmet commitments in crucial areas such as education, healthcare, and women's safety during the AAP's tenure in Delhi.
