Following this, Modi arrived at Blair House, the President's Guest House, where he met with US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. This meeting came shortly after Gabbard was officially sworn in as the eighth Director of National Intelligence before President Donald Trump.

Modi praised Gabbard for her new role and commended her long-standing support for the India-USA friendship. The discussions underscored the commitment to reinforcing bilateral relations between the two nations.
