Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has launched a scathing criticism of the BJP government, raising serious concerns about women's safety in the state. Gehlot demanded that Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma conduct a review meeting with key departments to tackle the escalating issue.
In a series of posts, Gehlot pointed to media reports indicating Rajasthan's alarming rise to the top in cases of rape of minors. He highlighted incidents in Tonk and Ajmer, where minors faced serious crimes, illustrating a dwindling fear of law among perpetrators.
Gehlot also accused the BJP of failing its promises to the farming community. He alleged that farmers are compelled to sell key crops like groundnut and millet below Minimum Support Price, despite assurances to the contrary, leaving them in distress.
