On Saturday, Delhi Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh and BJP leader Kamaljeet Sehrawat visited the Rao Tula Ram Memorial Hospital in the national capital. The visit aimed to assess the current condition of the hospital and identify any gaps in facilities, with an eye towards improvements.
"Our work is guided by the trust that Delhi's citizens have placed in us. We are committed to enhancing facilities and serving the common people," Pankaj Kumar Singh told ANI. Notably, the implementation of the 'Ayushman Bharat Yojana' was quickly approved in the initial cabinet meeting chaired by newly inducted Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
Following her recent oath-taking, Chief Minister Gupta announced that the Delhi government is set to implement the Ayushman Bharat scheme. This move was a critical pre-election promise targeting the previous administration's reluctance.
