In a pointed attack on the Samajwadi Party, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath accused the party of favoritism during its tenure, claiming financial aid was selectively provided to its affiliates. He contrasted this with the BJP's more inclusive approach, aiming to benefit every resident in the state.
Addressing the legislative council, Adityanath highlighted the comprehensive healthcare coverage extended to residents under BJP's rule, noting that 10 crore people in the state receive health insurance. He underscored the fair distribution of funds from the Chief Minister's corpus, asserting that allocations are made without bias.
Adityanath slammed the previous SP government for branding welfare initiatives under its own name and underscored the BJP's efforts in expanding medical infrastructure, with every district now having a medical college. He mentioned major improvements at SGPGI, emphasizing the high standard of healthcare professionals being appointed.
