In a vehement critique, AAP leader Sanjay Singh lambasted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for allegedly removing portraits of revered figures Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Shaheed Bhagat Singh from government offices. Singh accused the BJP of displaying a mindset he described as 'anti-national,' counterproductive to India's esteemed leaders.

Singh further disputed the treatment of AAP party members, questioning whether their protest in the Assembly warranted such measures. He contended, 'If our party isn't allowed to voice concerns over the insult of our great leaders, what does that suggest?' alongside allegations directed at the BJP's perceived disdain for Ambedkar.

Atishi, another prominent AAP member, intensified the accusations, asserting that the BJP aimed to sideline Ambedkar's legacy by supplanting his portraits with those of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She highlighted the disparity in suspensions meted out to AAP members raising Ambedkar slogans versus BJP members praising Modi, indicating a bias.
