Amid escalating tensions following a controversial court verdict in Bosnia, NATO reaffirms its support for Bosnia's territorial integrity. NATO's Secretary-General, Mark Rutte, has unequivocally stated the alliance's support for Bosnia's territorial integrity in light of heightened tensions following the sentencing of the Bosnian Serb region's president.

The situation escalated after the Serb region's leader, Milorad Dodik, received a jail sentence and political ban, prompting the European Union to bolster its peacekeeping forces.

Rutte underscored that any breach of Bosnia's peace agreement is unacceptable, calling on the country's leaders to responsibly uphold national unity and aim for stability.
