In the vibrant arena of Madhya Pradesh's assembly complex, Congress MLAs sparked attention by displaying a unique protest involving plastic snakes. This demonstration was intended to symbolize their growing frustration with the ruling BJP, which they accuse of neglecting thousands of government job vacancies.
Before the state budget discussions began, the Leader of Opposition, Umang Singhar, led the charge, emphasizing that unemployment rates continue to surge in the state. According to Singhar, sectors such as police, education, and health have halted recruitment, leaving the youth stranded in their search for jobs.
However, this portrayal of the BJP government as a 'serpent on jobs' was countered by state cabinet minister Vishwas Sarang, who condemned the protest as a 'shameful' media stunt. He argued that meaningful discussions should take place within the assembly rather than resorting to 'drama and gimmickry' simply to capture media headlines.
