In a recent assembly debate, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy accused the main opposition party, BRS, of damaging the state's reputation by portraying the Congress-led government as a failure. He emphasized that these actions threaten investment prospects in Telangana.
Reddy announced plans to form a Special Investigation Team or involve CBCID to combat online betting and rummy games, highlighting these as potential threats to public welfare. He further stressed the need for stringent amendments to laws governing online gambling to ensure severe penalties.
The Chief Minister also addressed concerns over land development in the Financial District, clarifying the government's intentions to promote economic growth and refuting claims suggesting that University of Hyderabad students were provoked into legal challenges. He confirmed land allocation for space research initiatives in Kamareddy.
