In a resounding show of support, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma joined former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and other leaders in lauding 'Operation Sindoor' executed by the Indian Armed Forces in Pakistan. This decisive action targeted nine terrorist camps and has been celebrated across political lines.

Having returned from Gujarat, CM Sharma is actively overseeing the state's response, keeping in close contact with Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant and DGP U R Sahu as Rajasthan remains on high alert. In response, administration in the border districts of Ganganagar, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, and Barmer received special instructions, prompting school closures as a safety measure.

Amid heightened security, flights from Jaipur and Jodhpur have been cancelled. Deputy Mayor of Ajmer, Neeraj Jain, commended the strikes as a nimble reply to terrorism. Mock drills are under way, with officials affirming the state's readiness in collaboration with the central government.
