Congress Revamps Kerala Unit Ahead of 2026 Polls

The Congress has unveiled a significant overhaul of its Kerala unit's leadership as the party gears up for the 2026 state elections. Sunny Joseph, a seasoned legislator, has been appointed chief, replacing K Sudhakaran.

The revamped team will include working presidents P C Vishnunadh, A P Anil Kumar, and Shafi Parambil, who will collaborate with Joseph in steering the party's state affairs. Adoor Prakash, an MP, has been assigned as the convener of the United Democratic Front alliance.

These strategic appointments aim to fortify the Congress's presence in Kerala, with a focus on the impending state assembly elections and aligning party functions with immediate effect.
