Indian-American Republican leader Nikki Haley emphasized India's right to retaliate after the Pahalgam terror attack. India responded with Operation Sindoor, targeting terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Haley criticized Pakistan's victim narrative and highlighted her past actions to curb US financial aid to Pakistan due to terrorism support.

On Thursday, Indian-American Republican leader Nikki Haley asserted that India had every justification to retaliate following the Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed the lives of 26 civilians. She highlighted Pakistan's inability to assume a victim stance amid their alleged incidents of harboring terrorist activities.
Operation Sindoor was launched as part of India's response, strategically hitting nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri elaborated that these strikes intended to dismantle the terrorist infrastructure and were measured to prevent further attacks.
Nikki Haley, known for her tenure as the US Ambassador to the UN, also addressed the financial implications of supporting terrorism. During her campaign, she emphasized cutting aid to Pakistan, which she believes enables terrorism, reflecting her stance on stronger national defense policies.
