Karnataka BJP President B Y Vijayendra has taken aim at Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, accusing him of burdening small traders with GST notices. Vijayendra claims that the state's Commercial Tax Department is acting under direct orders to boost revenue by targeting small businesses.
Supporting the traders' agitation against these notices, Vijayendra has called for a statewide boycott of UPI transactions, arguing that even small vendors are unfairly penalized. He has stressed the urgent need for the government to retract issued GST notices immediately.
Vijayendra also weighed in on political tensions, criticizing Congress for allegedly disrupting BJP activities and demanding a CBI probe into land allotment cases involving Siddaramaiah's family. The BJP accuses the government of diverting attention from internal rifts and unresolved issues affecting farmers.
