In a bold declaration amidst the festive celebration of Diwali, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis assured that his tenure would extend until 2029, asserting the stability of the current ruling coalition. Fadnavis dismissed any immediate prospects for a shift in his political role on a national level.
Addressing a media gathering at Varsha, his official residence, Fadnavis was resolute in clarifying that there would be no changes in the current political setup, which unites the BJP with Shiv Sena under Eknath Shinde and NCP led by Ajit Pawar. "No new partners or alterations," he firmly reiterated.
Fadnavis also tackled opposition allegations of inaccuracies in state electoral rolls, projecting political confidence and addressing infrastructure project sustainability, promising endurance without structural issues. As political dynamics unfold, Fadnavis emphasized strategic alliances in upcoming local body elections.
