Former MP Udit Raj has accused the authorities of forcibly evicting his family from their Pandara Park bungalow, even as the matter remains sub-judice. Alleging selective targeting due to his lower caste status, Raj argues the government's action punishes him for representing marginalized voices.
Seema Raj, to whom the bungalow is allotted, highlighted that the licence fee was paid until May 31. The retired IRS officer sought an extension due to personal circumstances; however, her plea was ignored, resulting in the eviction.
Udit Raj, who transitioned from BJP to Congress, questioned the urgency behind the eviction. Asserting his willingness to comply post-proceedings, he highlighted the disparity in treatment compared to others overstaying their accommodations, underscoring his ongoing fight for social justice.
