Senior BJP leader B Sriramulu on Wednesday claimed that Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah amassed Rs 300 crore from state ministers to bankroll the Congress's campaign in the Bihar Assembly elections.
The controversial sum was allegedly raised during a dinner hosted by Siddaramaiah, sparking accusations that the collection was a strategic move to stabilize his leadership amidst leadership transition rumors.
Meanwhile, Deputy CM D K Shivakumar deflected the allegations, humorously suggesting that BJP's Sriramulu had contributed funds to Congress, meant for the Bihar campaign.
