External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal emphasized the importance of broad political participation to lend credibility to the electoral process. He reiterated India's commitment to supporting Myanmar's efforts towards peace, dialogue, and a return to normalcy.
Jaiswal also highlighted India's humanitarian efforts following Myanmar's devastating earthquake in March, reaffirming India's role as a strategic partner and supportive neighbor amid the ongoing political unrest.
