On Wednesday, Tamil Nadu BJP chief Nainar Nagenthran criticized the DMK government, accusing it of merely confronting the central government on numerous issues without implementing beneficial measures for the state's people.
He specifically pointed out how the state government hindered the establishment of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya throughout Tamil Nadu and unnecessarily elevated the language issue, creating tension with the Centre.
Addressing the DMK's rejection of the Viksit Bharat Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) Bill, 2025, Nagenthran labelled it as a diversionary tactic. He also questioned the VCK's selective activism, noting their lack of response to significant local injustices.
