Odisha Congress chief Bhakta Charan Das called for a public apology from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah following a Delhi court's refusal to take cognisance of the Enforcement Directorate's money laundering charges against Sonia and Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald case.
The court's decision comes as a relief for Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and five others, with the Delhi court noting the ED's investigation was based on a private complaint rather than an FIR.
Das criticized the BJP and its leaders for allegedly using the ED to demean the Gandhi family, stating Congress plans protests in Odisha, demanding Modi and Shah apologize or resign for allegedly misusing their powers.
