Kerala BJP president Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Thursday blasted the state Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, holding him accountable for the alleged violations at Sabarimala temple. Referring to past incidents, Chandrasekhar demanded the chief minister's arrest, insisting that the BJP was defending the faith and traditions of Ayyappa devotees.
Amid ongoing controversies, Chandrasekhar accused Congress of diverting attention away from important issues, questioning its connections within the Sabarimala gold loss case. He contended that a proper investigation, potentially by CBI, was required to uncover the truth behind these allegations.
The BJP leader also lambasted Congress for opposing the new VB-G RAM G scheme, which aims to strengthen rural employment. Chandrasekhar argued that the scheme offers enhanced benefits over MGNREGA, crucially empowering the rural population with increased work days and transparency measures.
