India has prioritized the safety of approximately one crore Indians in the region, emphasizing the importance of energy security and trade. The government has already evacuated 67,000 nationals amidst the deteriorating security situation. The Indian leadership remains engaged in high-level diplomatic conversations to ensure civilian safety and de-escalation.
Opposition parties in India have called for an in-depth discussion on the matter, but the focus remains on addressing the current crisis.
