AINRC-BJP Alliance Seals 2021 Puducherry Assembly Election Accord
The ruling AINRC and BJP-AIADMK alliance have finalized their seat-sharing arrangement for Puducherry Assembly elections. The AINRC will contest 16 seats, and the BJP 14 seats, allocating two each for AIADMK and LJK. The election, covering 30 seats, will occur in a single phase on April 9.

The election alliances in Puducherry solidified as the AINRC and BJP formalized their seat-sharing agreement for the upcoming Assembly elections.
AINRC Chief Minister N Rangasamy and BJP's Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya finalized the pact, allotting 16 seats to AINRC and 14 to BJP, including allocations for AIADMK and LJK.
The agreement paves the way for the April 9 polls, which will see single-phase voting for all 30 seats in the union territory.
