The protest followed the second phase of polling, with candidates and party leaders expressing concerns over procedural lapses that allegedly allowed unauthorized access to the strongrooms.
Party supremo Mamata Banerjee called for 24-hour vigilance, emphasizing the need for heightened alertness to prevent tampering with the EVMs, as fears of manipulation continue to loom over the counting process.
