Modi's Strategic Move: Foiling Infiltration in West Bengal

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi with thwarting attempts by Bangladeshi infiltrators to invade West Bengal. He highlighted Modi's role in securing BJP's victory in the state assembly elections, recalling efforts by Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee to keep West Bengal with India during Bangladesh's creation.

In a public address at Vasco, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant attributed the prevention of Bangladeshi infiltration into West Bengal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership during the assembly elections.

Sawant hailed Modi's strategic actions as pivotal in securing a BJP victory, thwarting infiltration attempts and maintaining regional integrity. He further recalled Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee's historical efforts in keeping West Bengal as part of India during Bangladesh's creation.

Emphasizing his government's stance, Sawant stated that they have never tolerated attempts to divide people based on religion while accusing opposition parties of trying to instigate community divides.
