INDIA Bloc Demands Reform: Calls for All-Party Meeting on Economic Issues

In a significant political move, the INDIA bloc, an alliance of 23 opposition parties, convened in New Delhi to address the nation’s pressing economic concerns and other crucial public issues. Party leaders called for an urgent all-party meeting to tackle the worsening economic situation, unemployment, and rising prices.
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge announced that the opposition leaders had unanimously resolved to write to the Chief Justice of India, stressing concerns over the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls and instances of electoral manipulation. The bloc also demanded the resignation of the Union Education Minister over mismanagement impacting students.
Kharge emphasized the need for regular consultations within the alliance, scheduling the next meeting for August in Hyderabad. He highlighted the opposition's unity, urging collective efforts against the challenges posed by the Narendra Modi-led government, aiming to replicate past parliamentary successes.
