Karnataka Approves Rs 2,663 Crore Upgrade for Iconic Brindavan Gardens
The Karnataka Cabinet has approved a Rs 2,663 crore project to upgrade Brindavan Gardens near the Krishna Raja Sagara dam. The project, which includes hotels, illuminations, and water sports, will be executed under a Public-Private-Partnership model. The initiative aims to transform the gardens into a fantasy park.

The Karnataka Cabinet has given its nod for a comprehensive upgrade of Brindavan Gardens, located near the Krishna Raja Sagara (KRS) dam, with an estimated budget of Rs 2,663 crore.
The project will be executed under a Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) model. According to Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister H K Patil, the upgrade will include the construction of hotels, enhanced illuminations, and water sports activities.
This endeavor aims to revamp the gardens into a fantasy park, attracting more tourists and boosting local economy.
