The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade's arm, NICDC, attracted investor interest by showcasing cutting-edge industrial infrastructure in Bengaluru, according to an official announcement on Saturday.
With responsibilities for creating advanced industrial cities, the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation highlighted six pivotal southern nodes: Tumakuru, Krishnapatnam, Kopparthy, Orvakal, Palakkad, and Zaheerabad, aiming to stimulate growth in electronics, automobiles, and more.
Discussions centered on expedited development of these nodes, ensuring state policies align with national ambitions, and overcoming hurdles to hasten investment and develop necessary infrastructure, with participation from DPIIT Secretary Amardeep Singh Bhatia.
